Eyelash mapping - Cat eye lashes
Before building new lash extensions, you need to analyze your client’s original lashes. Then choose the right length and curves and design the shape that best suits the eye. One of the most popular designs is the cat-eye form.
Cat-eye lashes are designed to fit most eye shapes.
However, we do not recommend it for wide set, deep set, or very small-eyed guests. Cat-eye lashes optically make the eyes appear wider and rounder.
What do you need for the perfect styling?
To create really nice lash line you need to use a minimum of 4-5 sizes, so you can make a perfect transition between the different sizes. It is also advisable to follow the line of the guest's natural lash line. Usually shorter lashes grow in the inner and outer corners of the eyes, so stick to this natural growth rule for all styling. Aware of all this, our dream cat-eye styling develops as follows, moving from the inside out: 8-9-11-13-11-9mm.
Of course, it is not only the length of the lash that is important, but also the angle of the applied lashes and the proper distribution of the above sizes.
Try to tilt the lashes applied to the inner corner of the eye towards the nose and the lashes applied to the outer corner of the eye towards the ear. In order to achieve the cat-eye effect, we use the longest size of the set from half of the lash line to the outer corner of the eye, where we gently close the set in 2 steps. Thus, the lashes applied to the outer corner of the eye will be more durable, since following the natural shortening of the lashes, we do not risk the smaller adhesion surface, but the cat-eye effect prevails.
