The principle of eyelash glues
- Traditional
The main ingredient in traditional eyelash glues is cyanoacrylate, which creates the bonds when exposed to air. It uses moisture from the air to fully dry, which can take up to 24-48 hours. - UV LED technology
UV LED adhesives also contain cyanoacrylate, but the special feature of the formula is that it also contains UV light curing ingredients. In general, UV LED adhesives can be less irritating to guests.
Curing time of the eyelash glue, evaporation
- Traditional
Eyelash adhesives can vary in their setting time, but in general a range of 0.5-3sec is typical on the market. It is important to note that the setting time is not the same as the total drying time of the glue, which for traditional eyelash glues can be 24-48 hours. Why is this a problem? It is because the cyanoacrylate in the adhesive continues to evaporate during the full drying time, increasing the risk of irritation and allergies. This problem can only be avoided by using Superbonders and curing accelerators. - UV LED technology
UV LED Eyelash Glue cures completely in about 1 second with a flash of UV light. In this case, the setting time is equal to the full drying time, so the UV light at the setting points causes the glue to dry instantly and evaporation is completely eliminated, reducing the chances of irritation and allergies.
Durable

The durability of traditional eyelash glues is affected by many external factors. The temperature and humidity of the room, frequent dripping, storage, compliance with aftercare rules and much more. One of the biggest concerns is the 24-48 hours after construction, which is considered critical as the guest must avoid several activities during this time in order for the adhesive to set to the proper strength. They need to avoid water, saunas or activities that involve excessive sweating, which in our fast-paced world is becoming increasingly difficult to adhere to. The use of various bond accelerators and Superbonders can overcome this problem. It can be said, however, that even with the right technical knowledge, too many external factors affect the durability of the work, causing much annoyance to both the pillager and the guest. - UV LED technology
When bonded by UV light, the adhesive bonds instantly to perfect strength at the bonding points, increasing durability to an extreme and reducing the chances of irritation and allergies. UV LED adhesive is insensitive to temperature and humidity, does not become tacky during construction and retains its quality much longer after release than conventional adhesives.
Irritation, allergies

Due to the 24-48 hour drying time mentioned above and the relatively high cyanoacrylate content, the irritation and allergenicity of conventional eyelash glue is high. Even if a bonding accelerator or Superbonder is used, the glue that evaporates during the build-up causes irritation and, in more severe cases, allergies in many guests and lashes. - UV LED technology
UV LED adhesive cures instantly when exposed to UV light, so adhesive evaporation can be reduced to 0. In addition, UV LED glue is completely colourless and contains no pigments, which can also cause allergies in many guests. Based on our tests, we can say that several guests who are allergic to traditional glues can use UV LED technology without any problems.
!IMPORTANT!
Guests with a history of allergies must undergo an allergy test!!! Apply 2 to 2 eyelashes with UV LED technology on your guest's eyes and wait 24-48 hours. If you experience any itching, swelling, redness, irritation, pain during this period, do not do the build!

The key to traditional eyelash glues is the use of glue. It may take more time to find the right glue for your salon's conditions, and you may need to use a different glue in winter and summer to achieve the right durability. If you use the wrong speed or viscosity of glue, it can cause sticking in your work, which not only affects aesthetics but also durability and makes the customer feel uncomfortable. - UV LED technology
When using UV LED glue, you can control when the glue sets! You can use the foot pedal to flash when you have the lashes in the right place and in the right position. This technology eliminates clumping to the maximum, resulting in a clean, precise and long-lasting finish.
Is it economic?

Traditional eyelash glues have a very short expiry date of only 1 month after opening. This is because of the air-binding property, as minimal air can enter the bottle with each drop, causing a steady deterioration of the adhesive after opening. At best, you'll need to buy new eyelash glue every month to do the job properly. - UV LED technology
UV LED technology adhesives will retain their quality for about 3 months after opening. Technically, depending on the number of guests you have, you can use your glue until the last drop. So your glue usage becomes much more predictable and economical when you switch to UV LED technology.
